Guide · How it works

How DeepCore works

DeepCore is a free-to-play mining game with one loop: dig ore, forge it into miners, put the miners to work in a pool, and withdraw what they earn. Here is each step with the real numbers from the game.

  1. Step 01Stone Pickaxe

    Dig the shared mine

Every player digs the same 200 × 200-tile mine. It is replaced by a fresh one every 20 minutes, and you get 10 swings in each. A swing opens a hole as wide as your pickaxe's power and uses one point of its durability.

You start digging with your hands, one tile per swing. The shop sells 13 pickaxes for NUG, from the Stone Pickaxe (150 NUG) up to the Quantum Pickaxe (power 10, 500 swings), and a Stone Pickaxe is sometimes buried in the mine.

  2. Step 02Gold

    Collect the ore

Ore you uncover goes straight into your inventory. There are 20 ores in five rarity tiers, from coal and copper up to starcore and riftstone. See all 20 ores.

  3. Step 03Copper Miner

    Forge miners

In the forge you burn the ores in a miner's recipe to build it. The Copper Miner needs 6 Coal and 9 Copper and produces 1,000 H/s. Every new account gets one free to start with. Tier 1 miners cost only ore; tier 2 and up also cost NUG.

There are 15 miners in total. Compare every recipe and hashrate.

  4. Step 04

    Place them in your room

A miner only works once it is placed in your Mining Room. Your first room has 10 slots, and the hashrate of every placed miner adds up.

  5. Step 05

    Join a pool

Pools are where hashrate turns into rewards. There is a NUG pool and 5 crypto pools: Litecoin, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, Tron. Every minute each pool splits its reward between everyone in it, in proportion to hashrate.

For example, a Sulfur Miner (2,500 H/s) in a pool running 1,000,000 H/s in total takes 0.25% of that pool's reward each minute. When more players join the pool, everyone's share shrinks. Each pool shows its daily budget and your current share, so you can see what you are actually earning.

  6. Step 06

    Withdraw to FaucetPay

Crypto your miners earn can be withdrawn to your FaucetPay account. Set your FaucetPay username or email once in Settings and confirm your email there; your account must be at least 3 days old before the first withdrawal. Requests are queued and paid out to FaucetPay.

The minimum is 0.00002 of any coin (LTC, SOL, XRP, DOGE, TRX). NUG itself is never withdrawn: it is the in-game currency.

Free NUG along the way

  • The faucet: 10 NUG every 30 minutes.
  • Daily and weekly quests.
  • Mini-games and sponsored visits.

NUG pays for pickaxes, higher-tier miners and marketplace trades. There is nothing to deposit: everything is earned by playing.

An honest note

What you earn depends on your hashrate and on how many players share your pool. It is not fixed and it is not a salary. Treat DeepCore as a game, not an income. More answers in the FAQ.
